From Almshouses to Housing Associations …
Almshouses remain progressive in modern times providing 1,700 homes for over 35,000 people. At Saffer Cooper we have been involved with many projects including repair, restoration and full remodelling schemes. On many occasions these charities are new to the processes required for gaining grant funding and the procedures for delivering a scheme. Saffer Cooper provides a range of project management services and works as programme managers for the Almshouse Consortium using Homes England grant funding where possible.
Working with a range of Housing Associations enables Saffer Cooper to be involved with larger new build as well as remodelling schemes.
We have other clients who deliver specialist homes for the elderly, disabled and those with dementia. We are involved in a scheme to develop a cafe employing disabled staff and we have worked on schemes including community centres through Big Lottery funding.
