Close to the heart of Shrewsbury we have been working with the Shrewsbury Drapers Company whose 25 flat newbuild scheme began on site this month. This £3M development has a wonderful setting near the river (but not too close) and provides much needed affordable housing for local older residents. The scheme sits next door to a new scheme being built by Severnside housing and there is a sharing of construction services. Saffer Cooper are project managing the Drapers scheme which should complete in September 2016. Drapers have been very successful in obtaining Homes and Communities Agency grant along with raising sizeable charitable donations.
